Factors that provoke psoriasis include: Skin injuries (tear marks, nicks, scratches), sore throat caused by streptococcus. changes in hormone levels (The rash usually begins during puberty or is young) and some medications (rare) patients get better in the summer. But the symptoms aggravate during winter when the air is dry.
