Tentacles : Geniculate on the head
. Combined eyes : Stem with both single and compound eyes. The male has large eyes.
Wings: Steep, two pairs of wings are membranous wings with clear wing lines. The hind wings are small and have less lines than the front wings.
Mouth: The mouth is biting. (Chewing-lapping type)
3rd pair of legs: Carrying legs with a special organ for collecting pollen (Pollen basket).
